The Warehouse Management Specialist is responsible for overseeing and optimizing warehouse operations, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and supply chain coordination. This role ensures accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in warehouse activities while leveraging warehouse management systems (WMS) to improve productivity and streamline processes.
Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
Maintain and update the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure accurate inventory records.
Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and perform reconciliation to prevent discrepancies.
Implement and maintain warehouse policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and production teams to ensure timely material flow.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Train and support warehouse staff on WMS usage and operational best practices.
Generate reports on inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and warehouse performance metrics.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
2–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or logistics.
Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan, or similar).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety standards.
Effective communication and leadership skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Data analysis and reporting.
Process improvement and lean warehouse practices.
