Role: Test Manager
Duration : Min 6months
Location: Reading, UK
Mode of work: Hybrid (at least 2-3 days/week)
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
- Experience: Minimum 12+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 6 years as a Test Manager role within the banking or financial services domain
- Certifications: ISTQB or equivalent testing certification is a plus
Job Description:
- Test Manager with 12+ years of software testing experience, specifically in Payments domain and systems within the banking sector
- Strong expertise in SWIFT messaging, PCI DSS, Bottomline, BACS, CHAPS, FPS, CHIPS and the UK payment protocols
- Experience in MT to MX conversion (ISO 20022) Testing
- Test planning, Test Strategy preparation, Defect management, Stakeholder management and Functional, NFR test co-ordination
- Proven leadership experience in managing testing teams focused on Functional, Integration, and NFR Testing
- Good communication skills and good stakeholder management skills
- Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium ), API Testing tool (Postman/Rest Assured).
- Understanding of banking applications and financial regulations
