Job Description: Teradata Developer
Location: London
Work Mode: Hybrid
Contract: Minimum 6 months
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and user-defined functions for data retrieval and manipulation.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and ETL developers to understand data requirements and ensure data integrity.
- Implement data modeling techniques and database design best practices.
- Perform database performance tuning and optimization tasks.
- Participate in the testing and deployment of database changes and new features.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database-related issues.
- Develop and maintain documentation for database objects, procedures, and applications.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Teradata SQL, database design principles, and data modeling techniques.
- Experience with Teradata utilities, tools, and scripting languages (e.g., Teradata SQL Assistant, BTEQ, FASTLoad).
- Familiarity with database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Understanding of data warehousing and business intelligence concepts.
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
