- Experience in troubleshooting and managing Linux and Solaris products (RedHat, SUSE Linux, Oracle Linux and UBUNTU).
- Candidate should have hands-on experience in patching, troubleshooting OS related issues, scheduling jobs, managing suse clusters, and other administration activities.
- Should have experience in Vulnerability remediation, security hardening and other security areas,
- Experience in Virtualization technologies such as KVM. Would be added advantage.
- Should be familiar with Ticketing, monitoring, and backup tools.
- Knowledge on any cloud will be added advantage.
- Candidate should have knowledge on managing physical servers such as support rack mounting along with vendor.
- Candidate should be able to contribute to root cause analysis process.
- Adheres to customer defined process and procedures.
- Prepares and maintains technical documentation to assist with the on-going operation, maintenance, and development of the enterprise services.
- Provide Incident escalation and interact as necessary with Customer Third-Party Vendor; and escalate hardware and other Third-Party Vendor related malfunctions to Customer Third-Party Vendor for Resolution in accordance with agreed service level.
