Experience in troubleshooting and managing Linux and Solaris products (RedHat, SUSE Linux, Oracle Linux and UBUNTU).
Candidate should have hands-on experience in patching, troubleshooting OS related issues, scheduling jobs, managing suse clusters, and other administration activities.
Should have experience in Vulnerability remediation, security hardening and other security areas,
Experience in Virtualization technologies such as KVM. Would be added advantage.
Should be familiar with Ticketing, monitoring, and backup tools.
Knowledge on any cloud will be added advantage.
Candidate should have knowledge on managing physical servers such as support rack mounting along with vendor.
Candidate should be able to contribute to root cause analysis process.
Adheres to customer defined process and procedures.
Prepares and maintains technical documentation to assist with the on-going operation, maintenance, and development of the enterprise services.
Provide Incident escalation and interact as necessary with Customer Third-Party Vendor; and escalate hardware and other Third-Party Vendor related malfunctions to Customer Third-Party Vendor for Resolution in accordance with agreed service level.
