Project Description:
The project encompasses the development and rollout of a comprehensive IT ecosystem designed to support the electrification and digital transformation of mobility services across Europe. This ecosystem is strategically developed to cater to a diverse customer base, including B2B, B2C, and B2B2C segments, and has been successfully deployed in several countries beyond Germany, namely the UK, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Italy, and Austria. Here's a breakdown of the various components of the IT landscape and their purposes:
1. CRM (Dynamics Customer Engagement):
Purpose: To centralize customer management processes, including sales, service requests, and interactions. This platform enables efficient management of customer relationships across all touchpoints, providing a 360-degree view of customer activities.
Features: Includes modules for sales, customer service, and marketing, tailored to manage wallbox sales, installation requests, fleet management, and partner interactions.
2. Middleware (Java-based Microservices on Azure):
Purpose: Acts as the communication hub between the CRM system, backend services, and external interfaces. It facilitates data exchange, integration of services, and orchestration of business processes across the platform.
Features: Comprises a suite of microservices that handle tasks such as API management, data transformation, and service orchestration, ensuring seamless interactions between different components of the IT ecosystem.
3. Backend Services (Java Microservices/Azure):
Purpose: To support the platform's core functionalities, including but not limited to, transaction processing, data management, and analytics. These services are critical for the operation of various portals and integrations.
Features: Development and deployment of scalable microservices that perform specific backend functions, such as handling charging point operator (CPO) integrations, electric vehicle (EV) related services, and other third-party provider interactions.
4. Customer and Partner Portals:
Purpose: To provide digital interfaces for different user groups, including individual customers (B2C), business clients (B2B), and combined scenarios (B2B2C). These portals offer access to a range of services, from wallbox purchases and installations to fleet management and partner collaboration.
Features: The portals are designed to offer a user-friendly experience, allowing for easy access to services, information, and support. They enable direct interaction with the CRM and backend services, facilitating a smooth operational flow.
5. EV Integration and Management:
Purpose: To integrate and manage services related to electric vehicles, such as charging infrastructure, partner APIs, and third-party service providers. This component ensures that the client Drive's platform can support the broader ecosystem of EV mobility.
Features: Includes integrations with CPOs, fleet management tools, and other EV-related services, providing comprehensive management capabilities for electric mobility services.
--------
Project status:
As of the current status quo, the client has successfully developed and rolled out a centralized IT ecosystem designed to support the electrification of mobility services across Europe.
---------
Project Goal:
The project's overarching goal is to build a robust, scalable, and integrated IT platform that supports the client’s mission to extend its electric mobility and charging infrastructure services across Europe. By leveraging advanced technologies and a centralized platform approach, the client aims to enhance the customer experience, streamline operations, and drive the adoption of electric mobility solutions.
