Detailed JD *(Roles and Responsibilities) | SharePoint Administrator: - Install and configure SharePoint Server or SharePoint Online environments.
- Set up site collections, subsites, and configure content types, metadata, and libraries.
- Ensure optimal settings for document management, security, and user access.
- Manage user permissions (SharePoint groups, Active Directory, etc.) and access levels (read, write, full control).
- Configure security policies, audit logs, and data protection for sensitive information.
- Ensure compliance with security best practices and organizational policies.
- Address and resolve technical issues related to site functionality, document libraries, workflows, and access errors.
- Troubleshoot issues related to SharePoint features like web parts, custom solutions, and third-party apps.
- Investigate and resolve performance issues (slow page loads, search problems, etc.).
- Set up and manage SharePoint backups, ensuring disaster recovery plans are in place.
- Perform regular restores of SharePoint sites or items when necessary.
- Monitor SharePoint servers to ensure availability, uptime, and performance.
