Senior Consultant | Windows Server
We are seeking an experienced Senior Windows Server Consultant with strong expertise across Microsoft server technologies, infrastructure design, troubleshooting, and automation. This role supports a major enterprise customer in Germany.
Location: Berlin, Germany
🕒 Contract Duration: 6 Months
🌐 Work Mode: 70% Remote | 30% On-site (Berlin)
✈️ On-site travel only with client pre-approval; expenses reimbursed.

🛠 Responsibilities
Review, adapt, and redesign IT landscape according to security and architecture standards.
Maintain and update master data.
Design SQL Server installation images following vendor guidelines and IT security requirements.
Develop high-availability solutions using Microsoft Cluster technologies.
Harden cluster solutions based on CIS benchmarks.
Adjust AD policies to support MS clusters and maintain operational compliance.
Implement Defender Antivirus using Group Policies in Global AD.
Harden servers and clients according to CIS standards and business requirements.
Create GPOs for Office 365, Edge, Firefox, Windows Defender, SmartScreen, ASR, etc.
Analyze operational needs and adjust CIS-restricted settings accordingly.
Document system configurations, policy changes, and architecture concepts.
