Senior Murex Project Manager (Spanish speaking)
Location: A Spanish speaking talent remote working in EU time zone. Eg: A Spanish speaking talent working remotely from London in EU time zone.
The successful candidate will lead end-to-end Murex upgrade projects, with a strong focus on UAAS (Upgrade-as-a-Service) methodologies. Play a key role in managing cross-functional teams, engaging with business and technology stakeholders, and ensuring high-quality delivery in complex, mission-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Murex upgrade projects, including UAAS engagements.
• Manage project lifecycle from initiation to closure, including scope, timelines, risks, budget, and resources.
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment across teams.
• Collaborate closely with Murex support teams, internal IT, and business users (Front Office, Risk, Back Office).
• Coordinate testing strategies (UAT, SIT, regression), data migration, environment setup, and go-live activities.
• Ensure compliance with change management and regulatory requirements.
• Provide leadership to a multi-disciplinary team including BA’s, developers, testers, and Murex SMEs.
• Track and report progress using standard project governance tools and methodologies (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid).
• Identify improvement opportunities and drive automation and standardization within the upgrade process.

Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in project management within capital markets or financial institutions.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience managing Murex projects, specifically upgrades.
• Proven experience delivering UAAS (Upgrade as a Service) projects with Murex.
• Strong understanding of Murex architecture, modules (e.g., Mx.3), and upgrade lifecycle.
• Experience with Front to Back workflows, trade booking, risk, and settlement processes in Murex.
• Familiarity with environment management, data migration, testing tools, and performance optimization.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification preferred.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (verbal and written).
