Job Title: Senior AWS DevOps Engineer / Lead DevOps Engineer
Experience: 10+ years in IT with strong hands-on experience in AWS Cloud and DevOps practices
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS services, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and container orchestration. You will play a key role in driving DevOps maturity and cloud transformation initiatives.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Core Skills:
Strong expertise in AWS Cloud Platform
Hands-on experience with Terraform / CloudFormation
Proficiency in CI/CD tools
Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
Experience with Docker & Kubernetes
Deep understanding of networking, security, and Linux systems
Preferred Skills:
AWS Certifications (Solution Architect / DevOps Engineer – Professional)
Experience with serverless architectures
Knowledge of multi-cloud environments (Azure/GCP)
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
Soft Skills:

Strong communication and stakeholder management
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:
1. Cloud & Infrastructure
Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure architectures on AWS
Manage core AWS services such as:
EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFront, Route 53
Optimize infrastructure for cost, performance, and availability
Implement high availability and disaster recovery strategies
2.DevOps & Automation
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like:
Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps
Automate infrastructure provisioning using:
Terraform / CloudFormation / CDK
Implement configuration management tools:
Ansible, Chef, Puppet
3. Containerization & Orchestration
Deploy and manage applications using:
Docker, Kubernetes (EKS preferred)
Maintain container orchestration and microservices architecture
4. Monitoring & Security
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions:
CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack
Ensure compliance with security best practices:
IAM policies, encryption, secrets management
Perform audit and vulnerability assessments
5.Collaboration & Leadership
Work closely with development, QA, and product teams
Lead DevOps transformation initiatives
Mentor junior DevOps engineers
Drive best practices for cloud architecture and automation
