Overview
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in a pivotal role focused on automation testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing with an emphasis on automation, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated test scripts to ensure efficient and thorough testing of applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements and establish testing strategies.
- Execute test cases and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
- Maintain and enhance existing automated testing frameworks.
- Report and document testing results and issues effectively to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience in software testing, specifically with automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
