Senior Atlassian Consultant (Jira & Confluence) – L3 Support
Location: EU / Remote / Hybrid (depending on client)
Employment Type: Contract
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Third-Level (L3) Support for Atlassian platforms
- Administer, maintain, and enhance:
- Jira
- Confluence
- Analyze and resolve complex incidents and problems (root cause analysis)
- Ensure system performance, stability, and scalability
- Configure and customize Jira workflows, fields, and permissions
- Manage and optimize Confluence spaces and structures
- Handle plugin management, integrations, and upgrades
- Support releases, migrations, and system improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Project Environment
- Large-scale enterprise setup:
- ~15,000 Confluence users
- ~7,000 Jira users
- High volume of L3 support tickets
- Business-critical systems in operation

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience with Atlassian tools
- Strong expertise in Jira & Confluence administration
- Proven experience in L3 / production support environments
- Hands-on experience with:
- Workflow configuration
- User and permission management
- Plugins and integrations
- Experience with scripting (e.g., Groovy) is a plus
- Experience working in large enterprise environments
Mandatory Requirements
- Valid Atlassian Certification(s)
- Willingness to undergo a security/background check
Language Requirements
- English: Business fluent (mandatory)
- German: Nice to have
