We are looking for an experienced Senior Analog / Mixed-Signal / RF Layout Engineer to support advanced-node IC development projects. The role involves full-custom layout design at block and top level, with a strong focus on RF and advanced FinFET technologies (5nm and below). You will work closely with circuit designers to ensure high-quality, manufacturable layouts that meet stringent performance and reliability requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop full-custom Analog, Mixed-Signal, and RF layouts at block and top level.
- Ensure compliance with AMS and RF layout constraints, including matching, symmetry, shielding, isolation, and reliability rules.
- Apply best practices for high-frequency layout, including EM coupling mitigation, guard rings, and sensitive signal routing.
- Perform and drive closure of DRC, LVS, ERC, and antenna checks.
- Work with advanced PDKs, including multi-patterning rules.
- Collaborate closely with circuit designers to resolve layout challenges and meet project milestones.
- Support layout optimization for performance, yield, and manufacturability.
Mandatory Skills& Experience:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Analog / Mixed-Signal / RF layout design.
- Strong expertise with:
- Cadence Virtuoso (XL/GXL)
- Calibre verification tools
- Proven experience with advanced technology nodes (5nm and below preferred).
- Solid RF layout experience, including:
- High-frequency signal routing
- Shielding, guard rings, isolation
- EM coupling and noise mitigation
- Experience laying out RF blocks such as:
- LNAs, Mixers, VCOs, Power Amplifiers
Nice to have:
- Exposure to one or more of the following blocks:
- PLL, LNA, VGA, ADC, DAC, SerDes, Bandgap, LDO
- SKILL scripting for layout automation and productivity improvements.
Qualifications:
- B.Tech / B.E / M.Tech / M.E in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (or equivalent).
