Senior ABAP Developer – Software Development Advisor II

📍 Location: Nuremberg or Bad Homburg, Germany (Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite)
📅 Duration: 6-month contract
 

Role Overview:

We’re seeking a Senior ABAP Developer to join a dynamic development team supporting both SAP ECC 6.0 (EHP8) and S/4HANA environments. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing, optimizing, and maintaining SAP solutions as part of an ongoing system migration and modernization project.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP and ABAP Objects (ABAP-OO).

Work with Modulpool, Batch-Input, and RESTful APIs to build robust business solutions.

Support and implement changes related to S/4HANA migration initiatives.

Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

Provide production support and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams across global locations.

Required Skills & Experience:

6–10 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.

Proven background in S/4HANA and ECC 6.0 EHP8 environments.

Strong expertise in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and debugging.

Experience with RESTful API integration and modern ABAP frameworks.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in hybrid teams.

Fluency in German and English (spoken and written) is essential.
