Overview:
As part of the effort to launch new products and services within the new Post Trade Division, Our client is seeking to hire a Regulatory Reporting Product Specialist who will work closely with existing Post Trade solutions team members to develop and help implement a regulatory reporting strategy.
The ideal candidate will have foundational global regulatory reporting knowledge, product management or business analyst experience, history of working within OTC derivatives, and understanding of the current industry inefficiencies/challenges across regulatory reporting landscape and achievable views on what can be done to improve process going forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- In this role the candidate will be a member of the LSEG Post Trade Product team and will work closely with the business to help define a vision for all Regulatory Reporting services developed within the Post Trade division.
- Responsible for gathering feedback from clients to ensure our services are meeting the needs of the industry.
- Experience authoring detailed business requirement documents (BRD), technical specifications, and external documentation.
- Ability to document and communicate requirements clearly to development colleagues.
- Responsible for staying up to date with global regulatory changes and communicating upcoming changes back to the business so necessary enhancements work can be scheduled accordingly.
- Responsible for representing LSEG Post Trade on all external Regulatory Reporting working groups and forums.
- Ability to identify opportunities for LSEG Post Trade to help solve industry problems in regulatory reporting space.
- Working closely with legal, compliance and risk teams to ensure any future developed services are properly described in all documentation, rule book’s and compliant with its own regulatory obligations.
- Working closely with the business and other external facing roles to promote adoption and use of the LSEG reg reporting solutions.
Candidate Profile / Key Skills:
- A good understanding of Interest Rates, FX, Equities, and Credit Derivative markets
- Experience working with different trade repository frameworks, from set-up and message implementation to batch report, and reconciliation features.
- Knowledgeable in the Execution Venue space (SEFs, MTFS, OTFs, Etc.), particularly regulatory reporting and surveillance obligations execution venues are required to fulfill by regime.
- A deep understand of global regulatory reporting requirements across global regimes, but particularly in the United States, i.e. CFTC regulatory reporting.
- A deep understanding of CFTC rewrite requirements for the already implemented Phase 1 and the upcoming Phase 2.
- Prior experience handling messages or supporting systems which process FpML message structures.
- Strong communicator and willingness to take accountabilities for all regulatory reporting initiatives.
- Strong understanding of the current industry inefficiencies/challenges across regulatory reporting landscape and achievable views on what can be done better going forward.
