Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose system performance issues and recommend appropriate RAM upgrades.
- Install and upgrade RAM modules in desktops, laptops, and servers.
- Ensure compatibility of RAM with existing system configurations.
- Perform system testing and benchmarking post-upgrade.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues related to RAM installations.
- Maintain documentation of upgrades performed and system performance improvements.
- Provide guidance to users on memory optimization and best practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in hardware support, IT support, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of computer memory types (DDR3, DDR4, DDR5, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with RAM installation and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with BIOS/UEFI settings related to RAM configurations.
- Knowledge of system diagnostics tools and performance monitoring.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple upgrade tasks efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
