Job Title: Agile QA Functional Test Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Execute functional testing to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications.
- Utilize Azure DevOps for managing test cases, test execution, and reporting test results.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure alignment with the development team.
- Identify, document, and track defects, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
- Provide input and support for the development of automated test scripts where applicable.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation on testing processes, procedures, and results.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer with a focus on functional testing in an agile environment.
- Strong proficiency in using Azure DevOps for test management and execution.
- Excellent understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with test automation tools is a plus.
