The candidate should have 15+ years of professional experience in the P&C services / as part of a top-tier consulting firm handling Senior Management level responsibilities across pre-sales, solutions, consulting & practice work, with a well-rounded understanding of the insurance operations and processes (i.e. Sales & Distribution, Marketing, claims, underwriting, policy servicing, agent channel management etc.), industry trends, best practices and overview of regulatory/compliance issues.
• Candidate should have demonstrated exceptional understanding of P&C experience (with special focus on Personal Lines) across the value chain including technology solutions evaluation & deployment, UW & claims transformation, operational understanding, team management as well as solution definition & change management
• A good understanding and background in IT services, operational improvement, global sourcing, and quality management are essential. Knowledge of offshoring is preferred.
• The candidate must bring in experience, insight, and credibility in the P&C insurance domain (Personal Lines focus). Industry certifications from CII, The Institutes (AINS, CPCU) preferred.
• Experience of Industry standard COTS (Policy, Claims, Billing) like Duck Creek, Guidewire, Sapiens IDIT etc.
• Excellent problem solving, communication, and client management skills are essential. This role requires strong leadership skills and demonstrated capabilities of being a thought leader. The candidate must be able to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment, and be High on Drive and initiative, Self Confidence.
• Candidates must have a proven record of building and maintaining long-term relationships at senior (CXO and CXO-1) levels. They must be comfortable presenting to C-level executives, and senior business and technology leaders, and must be persuasive and influential.
• Should be able to conceptualize, analyze, create blueprint for business transformations and present solutions in the P&C insurance domain (Personal Lines Underwriting, Pricing, Distribution, Claims etc.).
• Is expected to be a leader in Hexaware insurance industry practice and will be responsible for driving strategic thought leadership, consulting solutions, and technology and business process services at Hexaware's top insurance clients.
He/She will be accountable for:
o Conceptualizing, developing, and delivering strategic and technical consulting engagements (i.e. business blueprints for transformations, operational improvement, business process mapping, re-organization strategy, global sourcing strategy, IT application and asset optimization).
o Developing strong client relations at senior executive and CXO levels, developing new business insights, and delivering practical, implementable solutions
o Leadership responsibilities for managing consulting teams, setting senior level client expectations, thought leadership, strategic problem solving
o Leading efforts in creating industry and practice knowledge, leading business research, developing position papers and white papers, and participating / presenting at industry conferences
o Integrating solutions from across the company and bring them together in a seamless client experience
o Work closely with our large account teams to identify new opportunities that are domain centric (including pre-sales & solutioning)
o Identify product and service partnership opportunities critical to integrated solution delivery
o Enhance Hexaware's brand as a thought leader including representing Hexaware as a speaker at major conferences, participating in reputed industry blogs and contributing articles to leading publications as required
