The PMO is responsible for managing a project from start to finish, including defining the project scope, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. They have several functions, like ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget the main tasks include:
PMO will also be responsible for recording & drafting the minutes of meetings and circulating to appropriate stakeholders. Tracking of items, maintaining RACI, risk register and ensuring co-ordination between stakeholders to minimize risks to project.
