Position Summary:
As the Principal Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all architectural aspects of our projects, from conception to completion. You will be a key member of our team, providing strategic direction and guidance to our architects, designers, and project managers. You will be the primary point of contact for our clients and will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality designs and timely project delivery. Additionally, you will be required to support business development efforts, build and maintain client relationships, and mentor junior members of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct architectural services for all projects, ensuring compliance with company standards and design objectives.
- Collaborate with project teams to determine project requirements, budget, and timelines.
- Provide technical and design direction to architects, designers, and project managers.
- Oversee the preparation of architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Review and approve all architectural designs, ensuring they meet project objectives and are within budget.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, communicating project progress and addressing any issues or concerns.
- Participate in business development activities, including proposal preparation and client presentations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and industry professionals.
- Mentor and supervise junior team members, providing guidance and feedback as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements, incorporating them into current and future projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- 10+ years of experience in architectural design and project management.
- Registration as a licensed architect.
- Extensive knowledge of architectural design, building materials, construction techniques, and building codes.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing complex architectural projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other related design software.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
