PeopleSoft Financial Solution Architect – Contract (6 months)

We’re looking for an experienced PeopleSoft Financial Solution Architect to join a complex enterprise environment, working closely with delivery teams and enterprise architecture to shape, govern, and implement high-quality PeopleSoft financial solutions.
This role is ideal for a hands-on architect who combines strong PeopleSoft Financials expertise with leadership, governance, and stakeholder management skills.

🔹 Proven Solution Architecture experience in large, complex enterprise environments
🔹 Deep hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Financials, specifically:
Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Billing / Invoicing
Payments & Disbursements / Reimbursements
Commission processing
🔹 End-to-end PeopleSoft implementation experience (insurance industry experience is highly desirable, but not mandatory)
🔹 Ability to interpret and translate legacy Oracle PL/SQL and .NET logic into modern PeopleSoft functionality
🔹 Experience working across Agile and Waterfall delivery models
🔹 Strong understanding of enterprise architecture standards, governance, and quality management
🔹 Confidence owning technical risk, issue management, and architectural decision-making
🔹 Experience mentoring Technical Leads and working in matrix-managed teams (including vendors and contractors)

Owning the bridge between Enterprise Architecture and delivery teams
Producing solution options, architecture designs, and technical direction
Driving reduction of technical debt while keeping platforms supportable
Providing hands-on technical leadership when required
Working through architecture governance and client standards
Influencing solutions across programmes with values £1m+
Acting as a thought leader within the IT Leadership community
