Responsibilities:
- Apply strong PL/SQL experience to design, modify, develop, and implement enterprise solutions.
- Develop and maintain stored procedures, functions, and packages for query optimization.
- Design, develop, and support data feeds for customers and vendors using Oracle.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, patching, and upgrading of Oracle middleware.
Provide support in managing incidents, alerting and monitoring
Requirements:
- 6-7 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
- Strong background in Unix and Linux systems with troubleshooting experience.
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux and Unix shell scripting.
- Experience in database design, data normalization, and performance optimization techniques.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Oracle database and PL/SQL programming.
- Experience with tools like Oracle SQL Developer, GitLab, GitHub and JIRA etc.
- Experience with complex SQL (Dynamic, Stored Procedures and Triggers)
- performance tuning of PL/SQL queries and optimizing database performance.
- Work with the advanced features of PL/SQL like collections, nest table, ref cursors, materialize views and dynamic SQL.
- Develop complex PL/SQL packages and functions for the application, according to business requirements.
- Nice to have knowledge on PostgreSQL
