Principal responsibilities
- Analyse requirements, propose solutions and engage with business stakeholders.
- Design, Build, Deploy and Maintain tax solution-end to end for multiple countries. (Complex Change Requests for existing sites and new rollouts for smaller countries)
- Assess impact on design & solution due to upgrade and monthly patches.
- Assess impact on design & solution due to Change requests being deployed not only in tax module but also within other verticals like Accounts Payable, Expenses, Purchasing and Accounts Receivable.
- Support various testing, application upgrade, environment build and Production Incidents.
- Build and Maintain project artefacts-design documents, configuration documents, accounting workbook etc. as per project needs.
Qualification
- ACA, ACMA, AICWA, CPA, MBA (Finance) or any other degree with Finance and accounting background.
Requirements
- We are looking for a Senior level Consultant with a strong delivery track record in tax advisory / consulting experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud Tax system
- Previous experience to build an optimal Oracle Tax Solution design and identify the key tax touchpoints across the end-to-end business processes for their clients' particular needs
- Previous experience with an ability to understand and analyse Tax requirements (VAT/GST/WHT), accounting and its impact
- Previous experience with the ability to analyse, design and build an integrated tax design across modules such as Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables and iExpenses in Oracle Tax system.
- Previous experience in developing and maintaining amicable working conditions with the business and internal stakeholders.
- Previous experience of handling any challenges, highlighting risks and issues with the business and internal stakeholders
- Previous experience in supporting team in assessing the business impact of technical decisions made
- Previous experience in creating and maintaining design documents, BR100/MC050 and accounting workbooks.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining accuracy in work and attention to detail
Work Experience
- Strong hands-on functional experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
- Having work experience of around 10-12 years as functional consultant across implementation and support.
- Should have prior work experience in solution deisgn, business process review and implementing best practices.
- Should have had exposure to end to end life cycle of implementations & Change Control procedures.
- Experience in Banking and Financial services industry is preferred.
