Business Overview
Bank is looking for a subject matter expert to support the final phase of the Bank Operational Resilience. This covers identification of Important Business Services, setting and testing of Impact Tolerance, and developing the strategic approach to integrating Operational Resilience into the wider risk management approach of Bank.
Required Experience
- Good understanding and experience of implementing the UK [PRA/ FCA] Operational Resilience requirements within financial services.
- Familiarity with EU – DORA regulations
- Experience of fundamental principles of Operational Resilience or relevant risk management discipline e.g., Business/IT Resilience, Third Party Risk Management
- Experience of Resilience programs implementation
- Experience in the identification, evaluation and prioritisation of risks and Business process mapping
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, together with the ability to effectively manage complex stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent senior stakeholder reporting and engagement
- Desirable: Proven knowledge and recent experience with the implementation of Operational Resilience Programmes within a regulated Financial Services firm
Key tasks
- Collaborate with the team to establish appropriate specific risk and threat management capabilities.
- Establish horizon scanning procedures.
- Develop service risk attestation procedures.
- Support the establishment of recovery strategies and BCP plans to enable to continued provision of the IBS during disruptions.
- Manage the delivery of the annual Operational Resilience testing programme in collaboration with the risk functions and test owners.
- Support the development and delivery of the Operational Resilience Scenario Exercises
- Support the embedding of Operational Resilience culture through delivery of training and awareness activities
