Job Description: Network Infrastructure & Wireless Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Infrastructure & Wireless Engineer with hands-on experience in enterprise wireless and networking environments. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of wireless infrastructure, RF surveying, predictive design, and network deployment practices.
Key Responsibilities
Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise networking infrastructure.
Work on deployment and support of:
Access Points (APs)
Routers
Switches
WLAN Controllers
Conduct wireless site surveys including:
Active Surveys
Passive/APoS Surveys
RF Analysis and Heat Mapping
Create predictive wireless designs and validate wireless coverage/capacity requirements.
Perform wireless design validation and optimization using Ekahau AI Pro and associated hardware/tools.
Generate, analyze, and present wireless survey reports and performance reports.
Interpret RF data and provide recommendations for network optimization and improvements.
Support structured cabling and data centre infrastructure activities.
Troubleshoot network and wireless performance issues.
Prepare documentation, survey reports, and network diagrams.
Coordinate with internal teams and customers during implementation and support activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good understanding of networking fundamentals and core concepts.
Hands-on knowledge of:
Access Points (APs)
Routers
Switches
WLAN Controllers
Structured Cabling
Data Centre Infrastructure
Must have practical working experience with:
Active Wireless Surveys
Passive/APoS Surveys
Predictive Wireless Design
RF troubleshooting and optimization
Strong hands-on expertise with Ekahau AI Pro software and all related survey components.
Ability to generate, analyze, and interpret wireless survey and performance reports.
Preferred Qualifications
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is an added advantage.
Additional wireless certifications are a plus.
Experience Required
Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in networking and wireless infrastructure projects.
