Job Title: Java Developer with ION
Location - London
Experience - 10 years
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements
- Troubleshoot and debug technical issues as they arise
- Perform code reviews and provide feedback to team members
- Write efficient, reusable, and scalable code
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Java and ION technology
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and procedures
- Attend meetings with clients to understand their needs and provide technical expertise
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 6 years of experience working with Java and ION
- Strong understanding of multi-threading, concurrency, and memory management in Java
- Proficient in developing and debugging ION-based applications
- Experience with financial systems and knowledge of financial markets is highly preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
