Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing robust, scalable, and secure applications using Java 17, Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL. You will work on cloud-based solutions leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java 17 and Spring Boot.
- Implement and optimize database solutions using PostgreSQL.
- Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Utilize Git for version control and collaborate with team members on code reviews and branching strategies.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, and security through best practices and testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Java 17 and object-oriented programming principles.
- Proficiency in building microservices and RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL for database design, queries, and optimization.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins.
- Proficient in using Git for version control and collaboration.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
