Job Title: IT Support/ Data Center Technician

Job Summary:
Provide on-site technical support in a data center environment, assisting remote teams with physical IT tasks to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-and-feet support for servers, network, and storage equipment
- Rack, stack, cable, label, and decommission hardware
- Replace failed components (disks, power supplies, cables, etc.)
- Assist with hardware installation, relocation, and upgrades
- Monitor data center alarms and escalate issues as required
- Maintain inventory and update asset management records
- Follow change management and safety procedures
- Coordinate with remote engineers and vendors
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience in data center or IT support roles
- Basic knowledge of servers, networking, and cabling
- Ability to follow technical instructions remotely
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and documentation
- Physically able to lift and move equipment as required
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with structured cabling
- Knowledge of Linux/Windows hardware environments
- Understanding of data center best practices
