About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Actuary (DAV) to support the modernization of our life reinsurance system. In this role, you will be responsible for developing technical specifications, conducting system testing, and addressing actuarial topics related to life primary insurance and reinsurance portfolios. You will collaborate closely with IT, underwriting, and finance teams to ensure a smooth transition to the new billing system.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Technical & System Support
- Contribute to the design, specification, and testing of a new billing system for life reinsurance.
- Ensure actuarial accuracy and consistency in system calculations and outputs.
- Work closely with IT and development teams to translate actuarial requirements into system functionalities.
✅ Actuarial Analysis & Portfolio Management
- Support actuarial evaluations of the life primary insurance and life reinsurance portfolios.
- Develop and validate pricing, reserving, and valuation models for life reinsurance products.
- Conduct risk assessments and data analysis to improve decision-making in reinsurance processes.
✅ Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as an actuarial expert in cross-functional teams for system modernization projects.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
- Provide actuarial insights to optimize business processes and enhance system efficiency.
Your Profile
✔ Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Business Mathematics, Insurance Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
✔ Experience: At least 4 years of experience in life reinsurance and actuarial functions within life primary insurance.
✔ Technical Skills: Strong background in actuarial modeling, pricing, reserving, and risk assessment.
✔ Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
✔ Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with IT, finance, and underwriting teams.
✔ Certifications: Actuarial qualification (DAV or equivalent) is required.
