Job Summary
An experienced Infrastructure Architect with 15+ years of IT infrastructure experience to assess our current on-premises IT landscape and develop a comprehensive modernization strategy. This role will focus on delivering optimized, cost-effective, and scalable infrastructure solutions aligned with industry’s best practices and future-ready technologies. Candidate must have worked in large enterprise complex environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct a detailed assessment of the existing on-premises infrastructure.
• Evaluate performance, scalability, availability, and cost-efficiency.
• Identify inefficiencies, risks, and technical debt.
• Propose a modernization roadmap (on-prem, hybrid, or cloud-native).
• Recommend architecture improvements to enhance automation and resilience.
• Deliver a cost-benefit analysis including TCO and ROI models.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and security.
• Provide technical leadership across infrastructure design decisions.
• Document architecture recommendations and transition strategies.
• Support procurement by defining specifications and evaluating vendors.
Required Skills & Experience
• Experience as an Infrastructure Architect or Senior Systems Engineer.
• Deep knowledge of on-premises technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, SAN/NAS, etc.).
• Strong exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and hybrid models.
• Experience with cost optimization and capacity planning.
• Familiarity with ITIL, TOGAF, or similar frameworks.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Certifications (Bonus)
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect / Microsoft Azure Architect
• VMware VCP-DCV / VCAP
• TOGAF / ITIL / Cisco CCNA/CCNP
