Guidewire Integration Developers design and implement integration components using Gosu, Java, and web services (SOAP/REST). They collaborate with technical and functional teams to deliver solutions across Guidewire applications, utilizing middleware platforms and developing various integration elements like message queues and web services. Key responsibilities also include participating in testing, supporting deployments, creating documentation, and ensuring compliance with data security and privacy.
3. Technical qualifications
Required technical skills often include strong experience in Gosu and the Guidewire Integration Framework, proficiency in Java and object-oriented design, and knowledge of XML, JSON, and SQL. Experience with web services, Guidewire integration concepts (like batch processing), the Guidewire Data Model, and source control tools is also important.
