Roles: Guidewire Customer Engage Developer (with Claim Center Integration)

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Guidewire CustomerEngage Developer to join our Insurance IT team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and customizing Guidewire’s CustomerEngage portal and integrating it with Guidewire ClaimCenter. You will collaborate with business analysts, architects, and other developers to deliver seamless digital customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement features in Guidewire CustomerEngage using Guidewire Digital (React, Java, REST).
- Work on integration between CustomerEngage and ClaimCenter, ensuring real-time access to claims information for end-users.
- Customize and configure Guidewire Digital portals to meet business needs and user expectations.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to build intuitive customer interfaces.
- Build APIs or use Guidewire Digital APIs to exchange data between CustomerEngage and other internal/external systems (e.g., ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter).
- Ensure secure data transmission and role-based access to claims and policy information.
- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and testing activities in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve portal-related issues and bugs.
- Work closely with QA teams to automate testing for portal components.
- Write technical documentation and deployment guides.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience with Guidewire Digital portals (CustomerEngage, ProducerEngage, or VendorEngage).
- Strong knowledge of Guidewire ClaimCenter, including its data model and integration patterns.
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, React, and REST APIs.
- Experience using Gosu in Guidewire platforms is a plus.
- Experience with Guidewire Edge APIs / Digital APIs.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Git, and cloud environments (Azure/AWS).
- Ability to work in Agile teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Guidewire certification in Digital Developer or ClaimCenter.
- Experience with DevOps, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), or cloud deployment.
- Insurance industry experience, especially P&C insurance, is strongly preferred.
