Role: DevOps Engineer (Payments Platform)

Role Overview
You will be responsible for designing, building, and operating secure, scalable, and automated DevOps platforms for high-throughput payment systems. This includes CI/CD engineering, cloud operations on GCP, Infrastructure as Code, and ensuring production reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins (Pipeline-as-Code)
Implement Infrastructure as Code and automation-first practices
Manage DevOps platforms on GCP and IKP
Ensure high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) readiness
Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and resilience testing
Administer and troubleshoot Linux systems in production
Support Oracle database automation, monitoring, and deployments
Work with distributed databases (replication, scaling, failover)
Implement observability (logs, metrics, tracing, alerting)
Integrate DevSecOps practices (SAST/DAST, security scanning)
Required Skills:
Strong DevOps/SRE experience in high-availability environments
Expertise in Jenkins pipelines and CI/CD automation
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Strong Linux administration skills
Experience with Oracle databases
Knowledge of distributed database concepts
Scripting skills (Bash/Python)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible or similar)
Nice to Have:
Kubernetes & container platforms
Secrets/KMS management
Service Mesh / API Gateways
Familiarity with SRE and ITIL practices
