Job Summary
We are looking for a Data Center Engineer on Fulltime to provide onsite IT support for end-user devices, network equipment, and data center activities. The role focuses on physical support tasks, incident resolution, and coordination with remote teams to ensure smooth IT operations.
Experience Required: 4–7 years
Location: Multiple locations in Germany & France - Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Provide onsite desktop support for laptops, desktops, printers, and peripherals
Perform Hands & Feet support in data centers (rack & stack, cabling, patching)
Assist remote engineers with physical troubleshooting tasks
Replace faulty hardware (HDDs, RAM, power supplies, network cards, etc.)
Handle IMACD activities (Install, Move, Add, Change, Decommission)
Support network devices (basic switch/router tasks, cable tracing)
Respond to incidents and service requests as per SLA
Maintain asset inventory and update tickets/documentation
Coordinate with vendors and internal IT teams
Follow ITIL processes and safety/compliance guidelines
Mandatory Skills
Strong experience in desktop / onsite IT support
Hands-on with hardware troubleshooting
Basic knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, Outlook
Understanding of network basics (LAN, WAN, cabling)
Experience working with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.)
Ability to follow instructions from remote L2/L3 teams
Good communication and customer-facing skills

Data center experience
ITIL Foundation certification
Exposure to banking / enterprise environments
Knowledge of basic Linux commands
Asset management experience
