The Hands and Feet Support Engineer provides on-site physical support in a data center environment, performing basic hardware, cabling, and infrastructure tasks as directed by remote engineering teams. The role ensures timely execution of activities to maintain uptime and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 2+ years in rack and stack installations, preferably in data centres.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco networking equipment and structured cabling.
- Familiarity with power systems (AC/DC), cable routing, and termination.
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs).
- Understanding of data centre best practices and safety protocols.
