Job Title : Senior Oracle Developer
Location: Remote - with travel to Frankfurt , Germany in exceptional cases.

Experience range 9-12 Yrs.

The contractor provides consulting services for the project team of the GRM-RC department in the following areas:
- Conception and development of Oracle databases in connection with the IRRBB ITS and net interest income modelling.
- Development of the implementation concept based on the requirements of the IRRBB ITS team.
- Extension of the Oracle database in the current architecture by creating tables, views, stored procedures, etc.
- Analysing queries and data in the context of performance improvements.
- Optimisation of SQL queries and database components to improve performance.
- Scheduling database applications and components via UC4.
- Carrying out developer tests of the implemented software.
- Documentation of the work results in HP ALM/Octane, Jira & Confluence.

Minimum technical qualifications:
- Very good knowledge of conception and development in Oracle databases
- Many years of experience in Oracle programming (PL/SQL)
- Very good knowledge of UC4
- Very good knowledge of Java
- Extensive development experience in the market/liquidity risk environment
- Good understanding of IB products, commercial products and market data
- Willingness & ability to adapt to the existing development processes and DB framework
- Very good analytical skills
- Ability to work independently throughout the project cycle (Kanban)
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and preferably also German.

Desirable: Knowledge of shell scripting (bash, ksh)

Desirable: Very good knowledge of tuning databases and DB applications, especially for data warehouses (queries, table design ...)

Desirable: 9-12 yrs. of experience in specific Oracle concepts and physical database modelling (partitions)
