Job Title: Business Analyst – Solution Analysis & Design (Regulatory / MACO)

- 2 weeks onsite Munich → 1 week remote
- 2 weeks onsite Frankfurt → 1 week remote

Role Overview
Senior Business Analyst (10+ years) with expertise in regulatory compliance and market communication processes (MACO/MaKo) in the energy/utilities sector. Acts as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring regulatory requirements are implemented accurately.
Required
- Knowledge of energy market regulations and MACO
- Hands-on experience with SAP IS-U or similar systems
- Business process documentation & functional specification creation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Broad knowledge of energy industry processes (electricity/gas sales)

Responsibilities
- Analyze regulatory and MACO requirements for compliance
- Conduct workshops to gather and validate business requirements
- Translate regulatory obligations into functional specifications
- Support solution design, implementation, and testing
- Monitor regulatory changes and recommend process adjustments
- Prepare compliance documentation; ensure audit readiness
- Liaise between business, IT, and regulatory teams
