Job Description
- Insurance Knowledge - Good understanding of how commercial insurance works. Good understanding and experience of insurance work in Lloyd’s environment
- Communication Skills - Both written and verbal skills. Candidate should know how to interpret requirements, how to influence business users opinions and be able to draft good quality requirements and functional design documents for reports and data warehouse changes
- Atleast 10+ years of experience in London Market insurance.
- Experience in preparing the Functional Specification Document in detail for bigger DWH projects
- Strong DWH knowledge is MUST
- Data Skills - SQL - must be able to interrogate data e.g. select and joins, aggregations etc.
- Excel - must be able to work with functions and Pivot tables, analyze and present data clearly
- Data & BI Solutions Experience - Must have exposure to Data solutions, have good understanding of how data warehouse work.
- BI Business Analysis Experience - Must have previous experience of working as a Business Analyst in a data environment
- Basic knowledge on accessing PowerBI or other visualization tool
- Good understanding on Finance data like GAAP and Solvency II (Good to have)
