Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analyst with expertise in banking, SQL, and integration projects. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in gathering and analyzing requirements, facilitating system integrations, and ensuring seamless communication between stakeholders and technical teams. This role demands a strong background in the banking domain, hands-on experience with SQL, and a solid understanding of integration methodologies and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Analysis & Gathering:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements for integration projects.
- Conduct workshops, interviews, and process analysis to understand and capture detailed business needs.
- Translate complex business requirements into clear, concise technical specifications for developers.
Banking Domain Expertise:
- Analyze banking workflows, systems, and data to identify optimization opportunities.
- Work on integration projects involving core banking systems, payment platforms, and financial applications.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with banking industry standards in all project deliverables.
SQL Analysis & Data Mapping:
- Use SQL to query databases for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Perform data mapping and transformation for integration between systems.
- Work with technical teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency across platforms.
Integration Projects Management:
- Gather and define requirements for system integrations, including APIs, ETL processes, and middleware.
- Collaborate with developers to design and test integration solutions, ensuring seamless communication between systems.
- Create detailed process and data flow diagrams to document integration logic.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as a liaison between business teams, technical teams, and third-party vendors to align objectives and deliverables.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, risks, and milestones.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure all requirements are met before deployment.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and test cases.
- Develop reports and dashboards using SQL or other tools to support business decision-making.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the banking or financial services domain.
- Hands-on experience with SQL for querying, data analysis, and reporting.
- Proven track record in gathering requirements for system integrations and delivering successful integration projects.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- In-depth knowledge of banking processes, workflows, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with integration tools and methodologies (e.g., APIs, ETL, middleware).
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
