Job description
- Proven, hands on development background, utilizing an C#, Kafka and the general Microsoft stack, including strong, practical Azure experience
- Real-world experience of delivering using Test Driven Development (TDD) and CI/CD
- Multi-year, real world (‘hands on’) experience of agile, including Scrum and Kanban and the real-world application from prioritization through to delivery
- Experience of the design and implementation of:
- Service/Micro-Service architectures,
- Event-based architectures,
- loosely coupled systems and re-usable components, system and enterprise architecture.
- Clear experience, over a number of years, in a trading-based organization (hedge fund, asset manager, investment bank) – with knowledge of financial instruments and terminology
- Wide-reaching interest and knowledge of technology and its practical use, including legacy languages and patterns, and current/future state languages, technologies and patterns
- Minimum Batchelor’s degree in Computer Science or a numerical/science based discipline
