Job Description:
Need to have Skills
• Plan and Execute the On-Prem Database/Analysis Services/Reporting Services/Integration Services Migration to Azure VM / Azure SQL DB Plan and Execute the On-Prem Database/Analysis Services/Reporting Services/Integration Services Migration to Private IaaS SQL Server 2016/201
• At least 1 year "Hands-On" experience working in Azure SQL on VM Setup, migration, troubleshooting, HA, DR, etc. At least 1 year of "Hands-On" Experience with On-Prem to Azure SQL DB and Azure SQL on VM migration activities
• Assisting with SQL Server Assessment/Planning/Migration/Upgrades/Automation/Performance Tuning, etc.
• Good hands on working experience with Microsoft SQL Server including Database Engine, Reporting Services, Integration Services and Analysis Services
• Good hands on working experience with SQL Server upgrade/migration activities from SQL 2008/2012 to any higher version including Database Engine, Reporting Services, Integration Services and Analysis Services
• Expertise in database troubleshooting, performance tuning, query tuning of SQL/T-SQL, partitioning, file group implementation and design database Indexes for high performance, as part of the migration/upgrade activities
• Work independently and in coordination with other application developers to investigate, analyze and resolve issues. Work with internal technical resources on project implementations and to resolve business and technical issues
• Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical issues in simple terms

• Working knowledge/experience with scripting tools like PowerShell, VBA, Azure Pipelines for DB, et
• Experience is designing, developing and maintaining data models using Erwin or similar Data Modeling tools is a plu
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced multi-cultural environment
Knowledge of SAN infrastructure, Network, DNS routing, Active Directory is a plus
