Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science/related field
In lieu of a degree, 3 years of progressive IT experience per year of education
Experience:
6–12 years of overall IT experience
Minimum 8+ years of hands-on application development
Technical Expertise
Strong backend development with Python (advanced, OOP concepts)
Experience with ORM tools (preferably SQLAlchemy)
GraphQL and API authentication
Performance management & internationalization
Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (automated quality checks, rollback strategies)
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – CDK stack for scaling EMR clusters
Working in SCRUM teams, version control with Git
Responsibilities
Develop custom solutions tailored to business requirements
Perform software design, debugging, testing, and deployment
Design, develop, and maintain core components of software suite using Open Source
Create and maintain documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, and clear code
Participate in design reviews, providing innovative and practical solutions in a team environment
