We are seeking an experienced Atlassian Cloud Migration Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing the migration of our Jira and Confluence instances from Data Center to the Atlassian Cloud. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and successful cloud transitions.
Location: Hannover(Hybrid)
Key Responsibilities:
- Execution of Proofs of Concept (POC): Conduct POCs to validate migration strategies and ensure they meet the project requirements, as defined by the Product Owner.
- Test Migrations: Perform thorough test migrations based on pre-defined user stories and verify data integrity and functionality post-migration.
- Data Center System Cleanup: Analyze and clean up legacy Data Center systems to prepare for cloud migration, ensuring that all data is optimized and aligned with the new cloud infrastructure.
- App Compatibility & Migration Planning: Evaluate the compatibility of third-party apps with the Atlassian Cloud. Develop migration strategies and resolve any issues related to app migrations.
- Cloud Configuration & Design: Configure the new Atlassian Cloud environment according to best practices, and create detailed migration plans and concepts for smooth cloud implementation.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation in Confluence, detailing migration processes, configurations, and any issues encountered.
- Agile Team Collaboration: Actively participate in agile meetings such as daily standups, bi-weekly reviews, and planning sessions, providing regular updates on progress and roadblocks.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Atlassian Tools Administration: Expertise in Jira and Confluence administration, with a deep understanding of both Data Center and Cloud environments.
- Cloud Migration Experience: Proven experience managing migrations from Jira and Confluence Data Center to Atlassian Cloud.
- Jira Site Management: Hands-on experience in managing and splitting Jira sites to meet new organizational needs.
- API & Database Knowledge: Experience working with APIs and databases to facilitate migrations and integrations.
- Fluent in German: Proficiency in German for effective communication with internal teams and stakeholders.
