Key responsibilities:
- Ensure regional WS adherence to Asset inventory policy and procedures.
- Project manage operational execution of WS Asset Management function within region.
- Manage and/or support local disposal and shipping events. Prepare assets for disposal and/or secure shipping events.
- Remove data bearing asset components (i.e., solid-state drives, hard drives, and other hardware declared data bearing) from all IT assets firmwide.
- Create manifests by identifying assets unique identifiers such as serial number for both chassis and drives, monitors, etc. utilizing firmwide asset inventory tools.
- Report on Asset inventory within region and Shipping of assets to location for disposal
- Ensure chain of custody records are being reconciled along the deco and disposal workflow. This includes but is not limited to the following, Service Now Request, Deco Tracker, Disk Tracker, Inventory systems, chain of custody records (e.g., certificates of destruction), etc.
- Proactively validate and verify critical non-data centre asset life cycle management policies, procedures and agreements for applicability and control strength.
- Coordinate with teams across cross functionally to identify and document asset life cycle management risks.
- Liaise with Assessment, Entitlements, Reporting and Audit teams in delivery of program of firm and regulatory mandated programs.
- Creation of global reporting on defined PM Asset management functions
- Run and/or own some programs within the stream.
- Participate in global team communications and meetings from a regional support standpoint.
- Conduct site visits to local logistics vendor facilities and other Morgan Stanley locations as needed.

- Experience in developing executive level presentation materials.
- Self-starter able to identify where focus is needed and bring clarity to requirements.
- Proven ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and related applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, Project). Advanced skill in data manipulation or automation using Excel functionality.
- Ability to build and sustain relationships with individuals at all levels of the organisation and leverage this to achieve work-related objectives.
